Cookie Policy

Effective date: 8 July 2026 · Version 1.0

This policy explains how SelectivePath uses cookies and similar local storage. In short: we use only what is needed to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

1. Essential cookies

  • Login session (sp_sess) — keeps you or your child signed in securely. It is HttpOnly and Secure, so it cannot be read by scripts. Without it, sign-in will not work.
  • Bot protection — if we enable a human-verification check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on sign-up or password reset, it may set a short-lived cookie to confirm you are a person.

2. Local storage (on your device)

We use a small amount of browser local storage for basic app functionality — for example, remembering which child's results you are viewing, and whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. This stays on your device.

3. What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in and core features from working.

5. More information

For how we handle personal information generally, see our Privacy Policy. Questions? Contact us at [contact email].
