Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 8 July 2026 · Version 1.0

This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It explains how you may and may not use SelectivePath. Our questions, solutions and analytics are proprietary and took significant effort to create — these rules protect them and keep the Service fair for everyone.

1. Your account

  • Accounts are for a single family. Do not share your parent login, or your children's usernames and PINs, with anyone outside your household.
  • Do not sell, rent, sub-licence, or provide access to the Service to any third party.
  • Do not use the Service to run a tutoring, coaching or commercial business unless you have a separate written licence from us.

2. Content protection

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

  • Copy, screenshot for redistribution, reproduce, republish, print for distribution, or otherwise share our questions, answers, worked solutions or writing prompts;
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, data-mine, or use any automated system, bot or script to access, collect or copy content or data from the Service;
  • Bulk-download content, or attempt to build or contribute to any competing question bank or dataset;
  • Remove, obscure or alter any copyright, watermark or proprietary notice.

3. Security and fair use

You must not:

  • Attempt to access answer keys, other users' accounts, or any non-public part of the Service;
  • Circumvent, disable or interfere with security features, rate limits, bot-detection or access controls;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • Introduce malware, or place unreasonable load on our systems (including denial-of-service activity).

4. Writing tasks and submitted content

When submitting writing responses, you must not include unlawful, offensive, or infringing material, or the personal information of others. You are responsible for what you submit.

5. Monitoring and watermarking

To protect our content and users, we may watermark content, and we may monitor and log usage to detect misuse (such as scraping or credential sharing). We may take steps to prevent or respond to misuse.

6. Consequences of breach

If you breach this Policy we may warn you, restrict features, suspend or terminate your account without refund, and take further action to protect our rights, including legal proceedings and recovery of loss.

7. Reporting misuse

If you become aware of misuse of the Service, please tell us at [contact email].
